Create a 1px razed (bevel) border around an object.

1. Make a new image of any size and background color. Make a new layer.
2. Draw a new shape using the polygon lasso tool (
).
Fill it with any color.
3. Go to Filter > Stylize > Emboss.
Use these settings:Angle: 70
Height: 1
Amount: 80
4. Now go to Edit > Stoke. Choose 1px, outside, stroke color= black
5. You should get something like this. I added a satin effect and changed the color (Ctrl + U).
